Coaching
Dionysios is a professional coach specialising in supporting neurodivergent individuals navigating crucial life transitions, which can pose unique challenges for adults with ADHD or ADHD traits, such as academic studies, career choice or change, and big life changes like marriage and parenthood.
Over the last decade, Dionysios has built a wide-ranging portfolio career as a performer, stage director, teacher, researcher and coach. His work at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama is equally multifaceted: at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, he teachers historical performance and academic studies and works closely with researchers at the beginning of their journey in higher education, introducing them to core research skills, critical thinking, academic writing, presentation skills, time management, planning and organisation. Dionysios is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Since he started teaching in 2012, Dionysios’ work has extended beyond the academic or technical confines of the class, studio, or rehearsal room, actively supporting his students’ professional development. Formal coaching and mentoring training rapidly advanced his skills, allowing him to work with clients from various backgrounds and areas of activity. Armed with an array of practical frameworks and tools, Dionysios is able to help clients effectively assess their values, motivations and circumstances, identify all their available choices, decide on the desired goal and create a detailed plan of action, putting in place strategies to ensure they keep on track and reach their objectives.
Dionysios offers ADHD coaching online via Zoom. He holds the Guildhall Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring, accredited by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC). He is an Affiliate Member of EMCC and the Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE), and has full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. For more information and to book a coaching session, please get in touch.
*** Dionysios is currently undertaking advanced training in coaching and teaching of people with neurodifferences such as ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia, and until February 2024 he is able to offer pro bono coaching to a limited number of clients that would be happy to provide feedback and reflections from the coaching sessions to be included in his advance certification portfolio. Testimonials
“Dionysios helped me break down my big life decisions into actionable steps. Without his support and guidance I would probably still be stumbling blind in pursuit of my goals. In just over month I was able to set myself course, and in three more months, I was able to reach my goals”
- Julian, Materials Science Researcher and Data Analytics Instructor
“My sessions with Dionysios have led to very positive changes in my life. He helped me develop a strategy to improve my sleeping, which was simple but effective, and for the first time in ten years I sleep well and feel rested in the mornings. Dionysios helped to clarify what I was feeling, worried about, or required to do and then helped me navigate some potentially difficult situations, such as assisting me in planning for meetings with key figures for a major project I am engaged in. He has also shown me how I can improve my general health through a number of simple actions. At all times, he has been friendly, upbeat, proactive and encouraging. I would thoroughly recommend Dionysios to anyone and I hope that he goes on to help many others, as he has helped me!”
